Steep. Sip. Disclose.
High-grade tea for low-grade behaviour
Tired of your tea giving you life advice? Tea & Tell makes premium tea where every tea tag is a tiny act of community storytelling. Each steep comes with an original tea tag confession from our communities' archive. We're bringing back the laughter, the irreverence and the community back to the tea space and letting it do what it was always meant to do: SPILL.

A brew for loose lips
Tea has always held the room
Across cultures and generations, tea has made space for lingering, laughing, plotting and telling on yourself just a little. We're bringing that social magic back with exceptional tea and tales that make the table talk.
Some stories deserve more than a group chat. And some tea deserves to be spilled.

Join a tea party (Coming soon)
because if we're being real, we come for the tea but stay for the company.
Through intimate tea parties hosted with bookstores, cafés, galleries, and other independent spaces, we bring people together for gorgeous tea blends and meaningful conversation.
Each gathering pairs original house blends with stories, thematic prompts, and a simple container to help strangers slow down, speak candidly, and leave feeling a little less like strangers.
Come for the tea. Stay for the tales.
Tell us a little about your city and space. We'll be in touch when the kettle is ready.
The tag hotline
Send us an anonymous micro-confession that could make a stranger choke on their Earl Grey. The best ones may find their way onto a future Tea & Tell tag.
A pen name keeps the tag playful. Your email is required to submit, but never printed on the tea tag.
Your tale is safely in the Tea & Tell tin. Keep an eye on the kettle — it may turn up on a future tag.
About the founder
Hi! I'm Sofia. Ever since I could verbalize, I've had this unending need to know what people were not telling me. The only time I've ever gotten spanked as a child was for forcing a locked drawer in my parent's bedroom. In it, I found cigarettes, letters from ex lovers, old photographs and journal entries. It was worth-it. In 2024, I created an unsent letter mailbox in NYC — the perfect device to satisfy my unsatiable curiosity — it has received over 10,000 anonymous submissions from around the world. Now, my mission is to rescue the tea industry from impending boredom by spreading tea tag gossip. As NYC's keeper of all things unsaid, avid tea drinker & self-proclaimed Reverend of the Gossip Gospel, I solemnly pledge to let it spill.
Got tea of your own? The tag hotline is always open.
Spill The TeaThe fine print
Short version: spill your tea on our website and you're letting us print it anonymously on a tea tag (or packaging, or marketing). We call this a Tea Tag Confession. We are keepers of the tea — all tea worth telling and spilling — and we pledge to give it its rightful place among loose leaves and loose lips too.
By submitting a tea, you're giving Tea & Tell standing permission to print it on tea tags, packaging, our site, and our marketing (on T-shirts, on socks, on matchboxes, on subway ads, on urban scavenger hunts, on sneakers… a girl can dream) now or later, with no expiration date. You still own your own words; you aren't selling them to us, just letting us use them for the benefit of all gossip queens worldwide. We may trim or lightly edit what you send for length or clarity, but we'll never change what it means.
Your tea is printed anonymously, under your pen name if you give us one. If you do, hopefully you'll make full use of our cheekiness rewards program — read all about it there. Your email is only used to reach you if you want to be reached. (Lonely on a Friday evening? Email our comms for a fresh batch of tea.) All jokes aside: we'll only reach you if we want to follow up on your submission — for instance, if it's selected for a tag.
We built a brand on our unhealthy need-to-know basis. Of course we want to know more about you. So we ask a few optional questions — your age range, gender, where you're writing from — to help us understand who's actually a part of this gossip network. We'd ask more if we could fit them on the form, like "should we imagine Sisyphus happy? Do you subscribe to existentialism or nihilism? Where do you stand on the Harry and Meghan debate?" But we can't. So we don't. Answering is entirely optional, never printed anywhere, and only ever looked at in the event of our founder's own existential crisis in the context of a global loneliness epidemic, to attempt to place herself within the wider, vast network of human identity and experience. She's not trying to identify you, per se — mostly just herself.
You have to be 18 or older — we deal in grown-up gossip only. Your tea should be your own story, not someone else's court transcript, so leave real names and identifying details out of it. We read every single submission before it goes anywhere near a print run, and we'll decline anything that doesn't fit the brand, outs a real person, or simply isn't yours to tell.
Spilled something you wish you hadn't? Write to sofiaisabelkavlin@gmail.com and we'll pull it, no questions asked, no hard feelings. If it's already out in the world on physical inventory, we can't recall it from a stranger's tea cupboard — but we'll stop using it from that moment on.
Still have questions? We love questions. Write to sofiaisabelkavlin@gmail.com and we'll actually answer.
You found the rabbit hole
is, as of this exact moment, being dreamed up by one (1) founder who got a little ahead of herself while writing the terms page and decided a rewards program simply had to exist before it technically did.
What we can promise: it will reward exactly the kind of behavior that gets you side-eyed at a dinner party in the best way. What we can't promise yet: the actual mechanics, because those are still being plotted over several cups of tea.
Pen names have been noted. Loyalty has been observed. Come back and check this page again — the gossip network never forgets who showed up early.
